Switch to a Digital Experience Platform in the cloud
StreamServe / Exstream Platform Server-based 21.3
Aix en Provence, 18 January 2022.
For StreamServe users considering outsourcing their Output Managament infrastructure to the cloud, OpenText has enhanced its solution to support the existing StreamServe and provides the tools to migrate to the Exstream Cloud Native (ECN) platform. ECN provides web-only interfaces to cover the design, operation and lifecycle of collaborative and interactive documents.
The ECN solution is deployed in Docker containers, giving you the freedom to choose the cloud platform (AWS, Azure, GPC, private or hybrid) that best suits your needs and budget. As a strategic solution, ECN still retains StreamServe's historical strengths of a best-in-class batch engine and the ability to acquire data in any format, significantly reducing document processing time.
In the day-to-day challenge to capture the attention of customers, companies need to find the right balance between the pace of communication and the level of personalisation. Too much, and customers become annoyed; too little, and companies are forgotten. Add to this the new expectations for consistent communications across all channels, especially the many digital channels, and it's easy to see how difficult it can be to deliver experiences that exceed your customers' expectations.
Business users, especially those in marketing, can use ECN to leverage business-related templates and data (ERP, CRM) to create highly personalised, relevant and consistent customer communications for delivery across all channels. How about creating communications from a single platform, ensuring that content is consistent with visual identity and brand image, regardless of the channel used? Consistent experiences build trust, and trust builds relationships, resulting in satisfied customers and increased loyalty.
To meet this need, businesses can easily control and configure content using :
- effective and expiry dates: the eligibility of components and their content is based on a calendar to ensure the presence of a version adapted to the business context.
- content variations: i.e. content that is similar but may differ according to certain context-related criteria: gender, language, geography, etc.
The digital economy requires most organisations to rethink the customer experience on the one hand, and on the other hand to provide remote access to teleworking knowledge workers for content creation (legal, marketing, sales). Without the right technology, it can be difficult for business users to achieve the level of responsiveness demanded by the shift to a digital economy, particularly in times of crisis.
Collaborative working has not been forgotten; ECN introduces real collaboration between the different professions, whether they are on site or remote (teleworking), in order to create, modify and approve communication elements easily.
Access to unified web tools for design, creation and interactive editing means that business users have the right interfaces to promote new messages and offers to customers, in a timely manner, without the need for IT.
The ECN collaborative working environment is not permissive, however. Content areas in the communication model can be locked or modified, depending on roles and/or individuals, ensuring secure and controlled access to the platform. Similarly, lawyers provide knowledge throughout the approval process for the development of communications, reducing the risk of non-compliance.
