PDP becomes PA, OD becomes SC

Two acronyms familiar to dematerialization players are disappearing: PDP and OD are officially changing their names.
Partner Dematerialization Platforms (PDP) now become Authorized Platforms (AP).
Dematerialization Operators (DOs) are now known as Compatible Solutions (CSs).
Why this change? And above all, what does it mean for companies and their partners?
PDP becomes PA: a strengthened and clarified role
The term "dematerialization platform partner" might suggest a contractual or optional relationship.
In adopting the name Plateforme Agréée (PA), the authorities are emphasizing :
- the official nature of these platforms,
- their mandatory role in the electronic invoicing system,
- their approval by the tax authorities as a guarantee of compliance and security.
APs are therefore the only platforms authorized to transmit, receive and check electronic invoices, while ensuring interoperability with the Public Billing Portal (PPF) and other approved platforms.
OD becomes SC: solutions you can trust
Dematerialization Operators (DOs) are also changing their name to Compatible Solutions (CSs).
Their mission remains the same:
- help companies process their electronic invoices,
- ensure compatibility with an Approved Platform (AP),
- offer complementary services (ERP integration, automation, archiving, reporting).
This name change clarifies their position: SCs do not have direct tax approval, but they play an essential role in simplifying and facilitating trade.
