Maillol Museum, Paris: Foujita

The exhibition " Foujita, peindre dans les années folles " takes place from 7 March to 15 July 2018 at theMaillol Museum in Paris. It traces the history of the Japanese artist, Leonard Tsuguharu Foujita. An artist with a unique destiny evolving between 2 cultures. Fifty years after his death, the museum has decided to reconstruct his journey of self-discovery and to create this character so singular in the Parisian context of the Roaring Twenties. He is a versatile artist inspired by animals, humans and nature. These different themes are at the centre of his works, generally represented as self-portraits.

As part of an CEM customer event organized by OpenText, we were delighted to discover and share the experience of this Japanese artist in Paris.
